This application is ideal for the average person wanting comprehensive weather information but not wanting to wade through technical and complex weather data. Consistently accurate.

It is a simple app and it works OK but limited in scope and functionality. Price is excessive. At best this is a $2.99 app.

I bought this app based on the reviews. I have a new iMac with Yosemite and wanted a good weather app with radar. The app doesn’t auto refresh; it has to be manually refreshed and that only works occasionally. The radar only works if I close the app and reopen it—it doesn’t work if I just open it from the dock.

I have been trying to add looping radar maps from a couple of different sources but haven’t been able to do that. Staff was VERY quick in responding to my question about how to do it, however, and should be commended for that. I have been trying to do the map addition according to what I was informed and several variations as well. But it just doesn’t seem to work. I want to be able to view looping radar and not just still images.

I have uased Wx since its inception, many years ago, and being a ‘weather spotter,” and having my own deep interest in weather, this is the ideal Mac weather app for my needs, and will be for anyone’s needs. It is very easy to configure, and the author updates it as needed to work with the latest changes in the National Weather Service data base. I give this my highest rating. RR

I am running a 15.4" Retina MacBook Pro which is utilizing OSX 10.10.3 Yosemeite. I have messed around with many weather apps in my day, but I honestly believe that Wx is the absolute best on the market today. Worth every cent, in my humble opinion. I live in the state of Montana where the weather can change for the very worst in one quick hurry. For my particular needs, Wx gives me all the tools that I could ever want for keeping track of our ever changing weather conditions. For me, it installed flawlessly and was very easy to configure and understand. My hat goes off to the developer with all sincerity. If you need a weather app that renders you life saving information, your search is over with. Simple as that.

Less fluff, but more stuff. Lots of weather forecast info, easily accessible. Well worth the money!

I like the app because I can check the weather quickly. Can check warnings etc.

Point forecasts often have forecasts for some days and/or evenings completely blank. I have three different locations added and they all do this. It would be a good program otherwise.

Works as stated and shown in the screen shots. After using the product, I was suprised by all of the 5 star reviews.

I used GPS coordinates to establish a custom location identifier for my home and can offer nothing but praise for the way this program functions. If you want forecast information; highly accurate current conditions; radar; watches and warnings; wind direction and velocity forecasts; “feels like” and ambient temperature readings; wind gust predictions; dew point predictions; relative humidity readings; probability of precipitation estimates; cloud cover percentages; six hour liquid and snow amount measurements, put this app to work for you. Superb!!

Disappointing. No option to reset units for knots (wind speed) and millibars (pressure). Now marine stations or buoys available. No Canadian stations.
